Catherine and Christina Spillane embarked on a 4-day cycling adventure along Vietnam’s scenic central coast, beginning in Nha Trang on June 13 and concluding in Hoi An on June 16, 2025. The tour followed the itinerary of the Vietnam Cycling Tours’ Nha Trang to Hoi An route, covering a diverse mix of coastal roads, fishing villages, and countryside landscapes.
Itinerary Overview:
- Day 1 (June 13): Nha Trang → Tuy Hoa
The journey kicked off with a coastal ride through fishing hamlets and salt fields, ending in the tranquil town of Tuy Hoa. - Day 2 (June 14): Tuy Hoa → Quy Nhon
A more challenging day with rolling hills and quiet beaches en route to the cultural and historical city of Quy Nhon. - Day 3 (June 15): Quy Nhon → Quang Ngai
Riders cycled through more rural areas and farmlands before reaching Quang Ngai, a province rich in wartime history. - Day 4 (June 16): Quang Ngai → Hoi An
The final leg brought the group into the UNESCO-listed town of Hoi An, with its preserved architecture and riverside charm.
